This is a crazy month coming up! The school year is finishing with a flurry of activities, my oldest son is graduating from high school, and my youngest son is playing baseball.
If I didn’t have a menu plan, I would lose my mind.
Oh, who am I kidding? I’ll probably lose my mind anyway. But at least we’ll have something to eat while I’m going completely nuts from the busyness of it all.
I’m still enjoying having a plan for the entire month instead of planning for one week at a time. I’m pretty sure this month’s plan will get rearranged a bit as we go along, but at least I’ll have a base plan to work from.

Here’s the menu plan:
Breakfasts around our house tend to be a fend-for-yourself affair. I try to keep a wide enough selection of items on hand that the kids can either fix for themselves or can fix with minimal help. Also, since my husband works a job with odd hours, every meal is not a “family meal”. When Dad is at work, I try to keep things simple to save time and my sanity (well, whatever sanity I have left by dinner time). The meals with an asterisk (*) are the ones when my husband will be home to share them with us.
