Getting Started

I’m glad you’ve decided to join me in this Gospel Homemaking journey. And what a journey it is! Just when I think I have this whole thing figured out, something happens to make me realize that I still have a long way to go. But that’s alright. I plan on working at this job for a long time.

This page is intended to give you (and me) a starting place. Whether you’re a seasoned homemaker or a young woman struggling to hold it all together, there are some things that can help us all be better managers of our homes. You will find all of these things listed at the right side of the page, but I thought having the links at your fingertips might be helpful. Click on any of the highlighted items below for explanation and instruction. I hope that the information you find here will give you some encouragement as you travel along your journey towards Gospel Homemaking.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, just pick one new thing to do every couple of days. You may want to start by incorporating a Morning To Do List. Once that is working for you, add some elements of the Daily To Do List. Then, as those things become routine, join me in doing my Monthly To Do List. And don’t forget, this is not just about homemaking. It’s about the gospel. Trust in God to give you the grace you need as you seek to follow Him with “a heart for the gospel…a love for the home”.
