Today for our Monthly To Do List we are going to attack the living room with a vacuum. Most weeks, I just sweep the "middles", but this time I'm going to vacuum anything that doesn't run out of my way first. Watch out, kids!
My best friend today will be the furniture attachment (the one that looks like a brush). I'll pull the sofa and chair cushions onto the floor and take care of the crumbs and pieces of popcorn that somehow squeeze through the cracks (literally). I'll vacuum the upholstery on the cushions, backs, and sides before I put them all back together.
I've also found that the furniture brush is the easiest way to dust the baseboards and lampshades. I told you I was going to clean whatever didn't move out of my way!
To finish things off, I'll hit the floors. If I have enough time, I'll vacuum under the furniture and around the edges of the room before I get the middle. Dust, dirt, and crumbs don't stand a chance!
