It amazes me that two machines whose sole purpose is cleaning things can get so dirty! Between the dust, lint, splashes, and detergent drips my washer and dryer could use a good scrubbing of their own.
I'll look inside the machines and wipe up any areas that need it, especially the rim around my washing machine that never gets completely dry. I'll be sure the dryer's lint screen is clean, and I'll wash out the detergent compartment of the washer (it gets gross!). I will finish the job by taking a spray bottle and some towels to the tops, fronts, and sides of both machines. Ah, now I'll have some nice clean cleaning machines!
